Book Suggestion: "No B.S. Wealth Attraction," By Dan Kennedy

A Fantastic Read For Investors And Entrepreneurs

Investors are curious people. Which is The Daily Dividend shares one interesting book every Monday.

Today’s pick is No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy, by Dan Kennedy.

This is not a generic self-help mindset book about positive thinking and saying affirmations. No B.S. Wealth Attraction is specifically written for business owners, sales people, and entrepreneurs. Though investors can also benefit.

The book deals with “wealth inhibitors” that subconsciously sabotage many people into thinking small and pulling their punches when it comes to business and money.

Here’s an example…

Many business owners, or investors, have looked at a product and thought “This is too expensive for the average consumer.”

Kennedy debunks this in one sentence…

"Everybody, somehow, finds plenty of money to buy whatever they decide they want to buy."

Kennedy illustrates this by sharing his experience working with a company that sells high-end luxury garden sheds.

When the project started, he assumed the company’s clients were affluent. They weren’t.

Here were a few of the customers who bought the firm’s $10,000 garden sheds…

“One happy couple with not one but two sheds in their backyard, his-and-hers sheds, are both retired and on Social Security, and he's got one small pension. They're totally on a fixed income. Two sheds.”

Kennedy continues…

“Another guy with the biggest shed and a big pond in his backyard started out telling me something of a sob story. If you heard it, you'd assume he didn't have two nickels to rub together. But somehow, miraculously, he dug up about $20,000.00 for landscaping and a koi pond, and another $10,000.00 for the shed.”

As Kennedy concludes…

“There's always a lot of ‘hidden money’ in the market as a whole and in the vast majority of households and businesses. It hides from everyone failing to offer sufficiently motivating and interesting offers. It is invisible to entrepreneurs with vision blocked by their own ideas about the absence of available spending power.”

As a business owner, it’s easy to assume people “can’t afford” something. This book argues that’s a projection. Our limiting belief, not the market’s reality.

Wealth is out there. It’s just invisible to those who expect scarcity.

No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy is an actionable read about dealing with your own limiting beliefs. The book also explains why you should avoid falling for doom and gloom headlines, as well as how to escape wealth inhibiting excuses that subconsciously prevent you from achieving success.

In a world dominated by pessimistic headlines and online nihilism, No B.S. Wealth Attraction is a blunt wake up call. Money isn’t gone. It’s hiding in the blind spots most people never check.
