While there isn’t a ton of new dividend news this morning, there is one company that’s announced an upcoming special dividend. And, two utility firms are issuing their latest payments.

Dillard's, Inc. ($DDS) Declares $30.00 Special Dividend
An unusual market-beater that operates in a typically abysmal sector, Dillard's, Inc. owns and operates department stores in the southeastern, southwestern, and midwestern areas of the United States.
Not a particularly exciting or original business, but over the past decade Dillard’s has delivered a 27.42% average annual total return.
Dillard’s pays a small quarterly dividend as well as special distributions.
Recently, Dillard's, Inc. announced a one-time $30.00/share special dividend.
Ex-dividend date: 12/12/25
Payout date: 1/5/26
Forward starting dividend yield: 4.66%
Global Water Resources, Inc. ($GWRS) Declares $0.0253 Dividend
A water utility that serves Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona?
That’s Global Water Resources, Inc.. This is a regulated water utility stock that pays monthly dividends. The firm serves approximately 36,000 homes and has been in business since 2003.
Last week, the company announced its December payment.
Global Water Resources, Inc. will pay a $0.0253/share monthly dividend, in-line with previous payment.
Ex-dividend date: 12/16/25
Payout date: 12/30/25
Forward starting dividend yield: 3.55%
PPL Corporation ($PPL) Declares $0.2725 Dividend
How about a weird corporate fact?
The PPL Building, former headquarters of PPL Corporation, was once described by Encyclopedia Britannica as the "best example of a modern office building."
PPL Corporation is a natural gas and electricity provider. The company, originally called “Pennsylvania Power & Light,” serves approximately 3.5 million customers across Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, and Rhode Island.
PPL Corporation will pay a $0.2725/share quarterly dividend that is in-line with the prior distribution.
Ex-dividend date: 12/10/25
Payout date: 1/2/26
Forward starting dividend yield: 2.95%
