The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. ($GS) Raises Dividend By 33%

Banking giant The Goldman Sachs Group announced a massive dividend raise earlier this week. The company will hike their quarterly distribution by 33%.

However, Goldman Sachs did not give a specific date for this upcoming dividend.

Instead, the bank stated that the raise will go into effect on July 1st, indicating that investors will receive the higher payout when Goldman pays its third quarter dividend - something that usually occurs in August.

The Goldman Sachs Group will now pay a $4.00/share quarterly dividend.

UMH Properties, Inc. ($UMH) Declares $0.225 Dividend

UMH Properties, Inc. owns and operates 141 manufactured home communities. This is a real estate investment trust, and the company has paid dividends every year since 1990.

Additionally, UMH Properties, Inc. is a relatively high-yield stock, with a 5.25% starting dividend. And, the company has delivered a 10-year average annual total return of 11.12% - outperforming better-known peers like Realty Income Corporation.

On Tuesday, UMH Properties, Inc. announced its latest dividend payment.

UMH Properties, Inc. will pay a $0.225/share quarterly dividend, in-line with the previous distribution.

  • Ex-dividend date: 8/15/2025

  • Payout date: 9/15/2025

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 5.25%

Morgan Stanley ($MS) Raises Dividend By 8%

J.P. Morgan’s other bank, Morgan Stanley announced an 8% dividend raise and a $20 billion stock buyback program.

Like The Goldman Sachs Group, Morgan Stanley didn’t give a fixed date for their latest payment. However, the dividend raise should go into effect in the third quarter of this year.

Doing a little sleuthing, Morgan Stanley shareholders should receive the higher dividend payment sometime around mid-August with an ex-dividend date in mid-July.

Morgan Stanley will now pay a quarterly dividend rate of $1.00/share.
