Since financial institutions have dominated the news for the past week or so, let’s start with something different and work our way, alphabetically, the the big banking dividend raise.

Alamo Group Inc. ($ALG) Declares $0.30 Dividend

Alamo Group Inc. makes heavy equipment for managing vegetation and maintaining infrastructure. Wow. that sounds vague and boring. Here’s a more specific example of what the company does, Alamo Group makes vehicles and equipment like the Bush Hog lawnmower and NiteHawk street sweeper.

Cities and municipalities often use Alamo products for cutting grass, excavating holes, plowing snow, cleaning streets, and other essential if under the radar infrastructure activities.

Last week, Alamo Group announced their latest dividend. The company will pay a $0.30/share quarterly distribution, in-line with the previous dividend.

  • Payout date: 7/29/2025

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 0.53%

RPM International Inc. ($RPM) Declares $0.51 Dividend

From protecting the Sydney Opera House to preserving the Statue of Liberty, RPM International Inc. has a wide variety of building material products that are used all over the world.

The company owns many recognizable brands, including: DAP caulk, Dryvit insulation, and Varathane wood stain.

RPM International Inc. has raised its dividend every year for over 50 years.

And the company recently announced its latest distribution. Later this month, RPM International Inc. will pay a $0.51/share quarterly dividend that is in-line with the previous payment.

  • Ex-dividend date: 7/15/2025

  • Payout date: 7/31/2025

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 1.80%

Wells Fargo & Company ($WFC) Raises Dividend By 12.5%

Did you know that Henry Wells and William G. Fargo founded both Wells Fargo & Company and American Express Company?

Wells Fargo pre-dates the American Civil War, having been founded in 1852.

Last week, the company announced that it will raise its dividend by 12.5%.

And although the bank didn’t give a specific date for their upcoming dividend hike, Wells Fargo issued a press release stating that their management "[E]xpects to increase its third quarter 2025 common stock dividend by 12.5% to $0.45 per share."

Wells Fargo & Company will now pay a quarterly dividend of $0.45/share.

  • Payout date: Q3, 2025

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 2.15%
