Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. ($CWCO) Raises Dividend by 27.3%
Consolidated Water Co. is a utility stock that slips through many screeners. Why? Because this company is located outside of the United States.
Consolidated Water Co. is a water utility service that operates in the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, and the British Virgin Islands. Additionally, the company has a new contract to enter the U.S. market and build a desalination plant in Hawaii.
This is somewhat of a niche utility company.
And yesterday, Consolidated Water Co. announced that it is raising its dividend by 27.3%.
The company will now pay a $0.14/share quarterly dividend.
Ex-dividend date: 7/1/2025
Payout date: 7/31/2025
Forward starting dividend yield: 2.07%
Nordic American Tankers Limited ($NAT) Raises Dividend By 16.7%
Nordic American Tankers Limited owns and operates a fleet of 20 double-hull, Suezmax crude oil tankers.
Yesterday, Nordic American Tankers announced that it would raise its dividend by 16.7%, giving the company a new quarterly dividend rate of $0.07/share. This increase also bumps the company’s starting yield above 10%.

Payout date: 6/26/2025
Forward starting dividend yield: 10.57%
CompX International Inc. ($CIX) Declares $0.30 Dividend
Here’s a manufacturing company with zero debt and a history of paying special dividends.
CompX International Inc. makes locks and boat parts. And, CompX is actually a spin-off of “National Lead,” one of the original Dow Jones components.
Last week, CompX announced its latest dividend.
The company will pay a $0.30/share quarterly dividend, in-line with the previous distribution.

Payout date: 6/17/2025
Forward starting dividend yield: 4.82%
