EQT Corporation ($EQT) Raises Dividend By 5%

EQT Corporation is a vertically integrated natural gas company that gathers, transports, and sells natural gas.

The company has been in business since 1888, although the firm hasn’t maintained a multigenerational dividend streak like some of its natural gas industry peers. Still, EQT Corporation made a major announcement yesterday when the firm declared a 5% dividend raise.

EQT Corporation will now pay a $0.165/share quarterly dividend.

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 1.24%

IDACORP, Inc. ($IDA) Raises Dividend By 2.3%

Here’s a utility company that was founded in 1915 and serves a low population state.

IDACORP, Inc. operates 17 hydropower generating plants, and three natural gas-fired plants, that provide electricity to approximately 649,000 residents of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon.

Yesterday, the firm announced its latest dividend increase, a 2.3% raise over the previous distribution.

IDACORP, Inc. will now pay a $0.88/share quarterly dividend.

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 2.59%

Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation ($WAB) Declares $0.25 Dividend

In the 1980s, large surveillance balloons lined the Florida coastline, using advanced sensors to detect drug traffickers smuggling cocaine into the United States. Westinghouse Electric Corporation made these surveillance balloons.

Westinghouse Electric Corporation is now defunct. But it’s sister company, Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation, is alive and well.

Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation traces its roots all the way back to 1869. The company makes electric motors for locomotive engines, collision avoidance systems for mining vehicles, and braking systems for train cars.

Yesterday, the firm announced its latest quarterly distribution.

Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation will pay a $0.25/share quarterly dividend, in-line with the previous.
