We’re kicking off the trading week with some major news, three companies have all declared inflation-beating dividend raises. And, these increases are coming from a wide variety of industries including tech and financial analytics.

Biggest raise first, so let’s start with a 9.9% increase…

Morningstar, Inc. ($MORN) Raises Dividend By 9.9%

Here’s a company many investors are familiar with.

Morningstar, Inc. is a leading provider of independent investment research and insights. This is an $8.97 billion company that operates in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

The company gathers extensive data on stocks, ETFs, and other investments, then sells analytics-driven reports and tools to a wide range of customers. Morningstar clients range from individual investors managing their personal portfolios to professional fund managers and large institutions. Morningstar also offers an investment management service with approximately $369 billion of assets under management.

This company was founded in 1984, and Morningstar has raised its dividend every year since 2011.

Yesterday, the firm announced a 9.9% dividend increase.

Morningstar, Inc. will now pay a $0.50/share quarterly dividend.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company ($HPE) Raises Dividend By 9.6%

Cray supercomputers, were used to sequence dinosaur DNA in the Michael Crichton novel Jurassic Park. And in the real world, a Cray computer generated the groundbreaking computer graphics used in the 1984 film The Last Starfighter.

Even now, Cray’s “El Capitan” system at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is considered the most powerful computer in the world.

Unlike consumer-focused tech companies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company provides IT infrastructure, software, and services to businesses and large institutions.

About 90% of Fortune 500 companies rely on Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company technology, and the company’s hardware is widely used by hospitals, governments, and airports.

Last Friday, this company announced a 9.6% dividend increase.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company will now pay a $0.1425/share quarterly dividend.

  • Payout date: 1/16/26

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 2.49%

WEC Energy Group, Inc. ($WEC) Raises Dividend By 6.7%

WEC Energy Group, Inc. is a regulated natural gas and electric utility that serves 4.7 million customers throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota.

The company maintains nearly 35,300 miles of overhead electricity distribution lines, 37,100 miles of underground electric distribution cables, and roughly 47,000 miles of natural gas distribution mains.

WEC Energy Group was founded in 1896, and the company has consistently paid a dividend every quarter since 1942.

Recently, the firm announced a 6.7% dividend raise.

WEC Energy Group, Inc. will now pay a $0.9525/share quarterly dividend.
