Chemed Corporation operates in two segments: VITAS, which offers hospice services and palliative care; and Roto-Rooter, which offers drain cleaning and plumbing services.

While this may sound like an odd combination, Chemed Corporation has been in business since 1970. And, the company has consistently paid dividends every year for 54 years.

Last week, Chemed Corporation announced a 20% dividend raise.

The company will now pay a $0.60/share quarterly distribution.

  • Payout date: 8/29/25

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 0.58%

American States Water Company ($AWR) Raises Dividend By 8.3%

American States Water Company holds the record for America’s longest dividend growth streak. The company has raised its dividend every year for the past 71 years.

This is a water utility provider that’s been in business since 1929. And today, American States Water Company serves over 264,600 customers across 80 communities throughout California.

Last Thursday, the firm announced its latest dividend raise, an 8.3% increase over the previous quarterly distribution.

American States Water Company will now pay a $0.504/share quarterly dividend.

  • Payout date: 9/3/25

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 2.74%

Illinois Tool Works Inc. ($ITW) Raises Dividend By 7.3%

Illinois Tool Works Inc. makes industrial equipment.

The company makes construction products, food processing equipment, and precision machining tools that are used to produce car parts.

Established in 1912, Illinois Tool Works has consistently raised its dividend every year for 51 years.

Last Friday, the firm announced its latest dividend hike, a 7.3% increase.

Illinois Tool Works Inc. will now pay a $1.61/share quarterly distribution.

  • Payout date: 10/1025

  • Forward starting dividend yield: 2.55%
